Choristers join Music Soceity Choir in Mass of the Children

Senior Choristers from the Cathedral Choir will be joining the massed forces of the Chester Music Society Choir in the cathedral on Saturday 7th May, 2011 at 7:30pm as they present Poulenc’s Gloria and Rutter’s Mass for the Children. The Rutter is written for an adult mixed choir, children’s choir, soloists and orchestra. The text is taken from the Latin Mass augmented with suitable English texts.

Chester Cathedral will be presenting a programme of seasonal festive favourites performed by the combined girls, boys and lay clerks of the Cathedral Choir in Concert for Christmas on Saturday 19th December, 2009 starting at 19:30.
